With $25.00 and a completed membership application, eligible
people can open a share savings account. This $25.00 deposit represents
your share in the credit union and must remain in the account
for the duration of your membership.
"Once a member, always a member."
And don't forget - just because you change jobs, move or retire,
doesn't mean you have to close your account. Membership is designed
to last a lifetime.
Once the share savings account is open, you are free to take advantage
of all the products and services we offer. Your family members are
also eligible to join at this time. If you choose to cancel your
membership, that $25.00 is yours to remove.
Three convenient ways to establish membership:
Those who meet the eligibility requirements may join the credit
union. There are three convenient ways to establish Membership.
In Person:
Members Service Representatives are available and they will make
opening a Northwest United account an easy, pleasant experience.
To open an account you need to bring two forms of ID and your Social
Security Number.
Acceptable forms of ID include:
- Drivers License
- Identification Card (government issued)
- Social Security Card
- Birth Certificate
- Passport
You will need cash or a check for at least $25 payable to Northwest
United Federal Credit Union.
By Telephone:
If you don't have the time to come into the credit union, you can
contact a friendly Northwest United Member Service Representative
at 303-424-5037. We will mail everything you need to open your account.
By Mail:
Complete the Membership card in full, signing where indicated and
have the signature notarized. Include a photocopy of your driver's
license (or other valid picture identification) plus proof of eligibility
such as a payroll stub, etc. Enclose a check in the amount of at
least $25 payable to Northwest United Federal Credit Union.
Mail the completed notarized Membership Card, ID, proof of eligibility
and check to:
