Our knowledgeable and friendly staff is ready to assist those members who prefer person-to-person service. Members who are not near a branch can rely on our Member Service Representatives who take care of members by fax, telephone, and e-mail.

Loans are granted on the basis of monthly income, length of employment, credit rating and current financial obligations. Members can apply for a loan in person, by phone or online.

Convenient Locations

Our main office is located in Arvada, CO and we have a branch in Thornton, CO. In addition, we are part of the CU Service Center network which provides a unique and cost-effective alternative to owing and operating individual branches. CU Service Centers allow participating credit union members to conduct most of their business transactions as if it were their very own credit union branch. By sharing facilities, we can offer greater convenience for members to access their account in more locations. Some offer extended hours during the week and Saturday hours. How Can You Join?

With $25.00 and a completed membership application, eligible people can open a share savings account. This $25.00 deposit represents your share in the credit union and must remain in the account for the duration of your membership.

Three convenient ways to establish membership:

In Person:

Members Service Representatives are available and they will make opening a Northwest United account an easy, pleasant experience. To open an account you need to bring two forms of ID and your Social Security Number.

Acceptable forms of ID include:

Drivers License
Identification Card (government issued)
Social Security Card
Birth Certificate
Passport

You will need cash or a check for at least $25 payable to Northwest United Federal Credit Union.

By Telephone:

If you don't have the time to come into the credit union, you can contact a friendly Northwest United Member Service Representative at 303-424-5037. We will mail everything you need to open your account.

By Mail:

Complete the Membership card in full, signing where indicated and have the signature notarized. Include a photocopy of your driver's license (or other valid picture identification) plus proof of eligibility such as a payroll stub, etc. Enclose a check in the amount of at least $25 payable to Northwest United Federal Credit Union.
