Savings Account 

The Share Savings Account is the first step in establishing membership with Northwest United Federal Credit Union. By simply maintaining a $25.00 balance members are eligible to benefit from all the credit union services. This deposit represents the Member’s/Owner’s one share of the credit union. Direct Deposit and Payroll Deduction are also available along with ATM, Telephone and Internet Access.

Share Certificates

Share Certificates are high yield term investments. Minimum balance $500. Terms range from 6 to 60 months. Interest is earned from the date of issue and paid monthly. Upon maturity, your CD is automatically renewed and for the same term at the current rate (unless otherwise specified).  Penalties for early withdrawal may apply.

Money Market “"Yield Plus"” Account

Watch your dollars grow!

If you are looking to earn high dividend rates on savings but want funds to be easily accessible, consider a Money Market “Yield Plus” Account. This account is a flexible, high yield savings account. Account balances from $2,500 - $5,000 earn a higher dividend rate. Balances do not earn interest for the day(s) the account falls below $2,500. Limited access to funds.

Money Market Checking Account

If you are looking to earn high dividend rates on savings, but want funds to be easily accessible by check, consider a Money Market Checking Account. This account is a high yield savings account with check writing capability and offers tiered dividend rates. Limited transactions per month.

Holiday Account

Whether members are celebrating Winter Solstice, Feliz Navidad, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah or Christmas, the Holiday Club Account allows members to accumulate funds throughout the year to save for holiday expenses. Members can make deposits anytime, including by use of convenient Payroll Deduction. Funds are transferred to the member's checking or share savings account on November 1st of each year.

Help your children learn about saving money at an early age. 

Savings Safari

Here at Northwest United Federal Credit Union, we are excited to bring back the Savings Safari Club.  Members that are 12 years and younger are automatically entered into the Savings Safari Club  The primary focus of this program is to help educate children with the help of their parents about the credit union and the importance of saving.  And have FUN!!!!

This program is for children ages 13 to 21. 

Northwest United Federal Credit Union’s Jump Start program is designed to help teach teens about money management and financial responsibility.  Member ages 13 to 21 are automatically entered in the Jump Start program!
